The nice thing about Bryce working for the Government is her gets federal holidays off and gets paid for it. It's great I love it. To start this weekednd off we headed to Salt Lake on Friday night. Dusty and Haley watched Ava, while Bryce and I went to the Desert Star Play House. CSI Provo was playing. It was super cheesy and funny to watch. It's a casual play house that serves your food as your watching the play. We really enjoyed it.
On Saturday My sister was moving we offered to help them move. Her family was moving from a tiny two bedroom apartment to a three bedroom house with a playroom, family room. dinning room, living room and lots of storage space. It will be good for them to have more space. (I can't wait to have that much space) She has four kids and a significant other. On a funny note I was grabbing stuff to load up the trailer, when they started talking about how their snake getting loose. I about freaked and refused to put my bag down. They enjoyed freaking me out most of the day. Later I realized this snake went missing two months ago... Geez thanks for freaking me out. My mom was watching all the young grand kids. I was really nervous to let her watch Ava, but finally concluded that part of rebuilding a relationship with her includes learning to trust her. After we were all dirty\,sweaty and tired we went to Chuck-A-Rama with the family to say goodbye to my sister who left for Washington that night with her two kiddos. Bryce's and my table was the popular one. All the little kids wanted to sit with us. We loved it.
On Monday Bryce woke up and made us breakfast. Yummy pancakes and burnt turkey bacon. He made me promise never to buy turkey bacon again. After nap time we got our swimming gear together and headed to the pool. Ava likes to splash and kick her legs. She does not like all the water toys or going under water. (it's scary) according to her. Here are some pictures of her.
She is sitting on a frog. It was her favorite thing.
When we got home we made chicken tacos for dinner and watched Muppet From Space! While preparing dinner and doing laundry Ava really wanted to "hide" in the dyer. She did so for a good fifteen minutes. She didn't really understand why we wouldn't let her close the door. She had fun anyways and pretend to nap and "hide". I had to take a picture of this because when Bryce was little, his brother Dusty climbed in the dryer. Bryce proceeded to close the door an turn it on. I have been told this story a few times. Needless to say Bryce has matured and did not close the dyer or start it.
Maeli has those jammies!! Cute twinners! :)
