Half a Decade Ago

               Half a Decade Ago I married my best friend. In five years I have discovered some things.

He still snores. You would think after five years of sharing the same bed, I would be use to it. I usually nudge two or three times a night telling him he his snoring. Bryce claims that I snore sometime too and shouldn't be complaining. Honestly I have no idea what he is talking about. 

We CAN NOT share blankets when we sleep... Once again you would think after five years of marriage we could share a blanket when we sleep, no we can not. I like to be warm and my own blanket. He likes to sleep with just a sheet and when we do share I always end up stealing all the blanket. 

I am always not always right.....When we were dating, I was chatting with a friend that was married and I said girls are always right. Her response "so not true". In five years I have learned... It's fun to joke about with other people that the woman is always right, but in reality we are not. Sorry to break it to you ladies. 

Marriage is Hard.... You go from being single and doing whatever you want to being married to someone, living with someone, loving someone with the intention of being with them FOREVER.  It can be kind of frustrating and just like any relationship there are hard times. Working through those times bring opportunities for you to grow closer as a couple. It brings learning opportunities about your spouse and yourself.

Love is changing.... Sitting next to Bryce in the celestial room of the Salt Lake Temple, I remember thinking their is no way I could love him more then I do in this moment. A few moment later we were sitting in a sealing room, our hands locked together, staring at each other and I already loved him more then I had a few minutes ago. In five years that has grown with every disagreement, tear, trial, hug and kiss. I could not have asked for a better person for me.

March 2007, We met skydiving in Moab

April 28, 2007, We started dating

August 2, 2007: We got engaged

December 28, 2007: We got hitched

October 2008, I cut my hair short for the first, this was big! 

December 2008, We got snowed in for Christmas, it was great! 

December 28, One year! 

May 2009: Bryce graduated from USU

August 2009: We moved from our studio apartment in Logan to Layton and we are still in the same place. we are growing out of it though. 

September 2009: we got our Xterra

December 28, Two years

April 12,2010: Little Miss Ava was born. We became parents

December 28, 2010, Three year. We had our first night away from Ava

July 2011: Jojo our red grand am finally died so we got buckey our acura

December 28, 2011, Four years. We had our second night away from Ava

April 2012: I graduated from Weber  
December 28, 2012: it will be our fourth night away from Ava! 

Here we have year one, two, three and four. As you can see in year three I didn't take a picture on our anniversary so we have one with Ava at an ugly sweater party. PS the pictures are not working how they should. oh well.
