A little Behind....

Lets see I don't even know where to start the updates at..
This is Ava at her nine month check up.
weight 20lbs
Inches 28 1/2
head 90%

One of the biggest changes we have experienced since I lost blogged was we now
have a three year old. Her name is Kimmie and she is a delight for our family,
Ava also has loved having kimmie in our home. It has been a very humbling
experience for Bryce and I. We have learned so many things. It has been a very good challenge.
We have had our moments, we were just thrown into the toddler stage. We wouldn't have it any other way.
We are currently working on the guardian ship papers and will start the adoption process, next January.

Next up is the new couch we finally got. I have been trying  to convince Bryce of this for two years.
He finally gave in. I love it so much already. Although it does create lots of static, so we keep getting shocked.

The girls love playing in boxes

Kimmie and I made a potty chart for her, one afternoon while Ava was napping.
She loves the stickers.

I went shopping the other day and picked out the easter outfits for the girls.

this is my cute nephew JR. Aka bubba. When he was born he had a giant black mole that covered his entire back. No one could hold him for two days while the doctors figured it out. Well since then they have been trying to decide which treatment option would be the best for him. The first treat the tried was inserting a balloon in him and stretching the skin. This process was taking to long. After looking at all the aspects, they decided to treat the mole as a burn. He went in a few weeks a go and the took the mole off. It has been a very hard process to watch. When we went to visit him, I had to hold back the tears as I walked by all the other patients and we I got to his room and discovered i couldn't hold him, because his body rejected the first set of skin grafts. This meaning he was wrapped up in tons of bandages and tubes coming out all over. He is doing well now. He is still in the hospital, they want to keep him there until his back heals a little more. Hopefully to prevent any infection
