This is Ava looking at her favorite book. It is bright and has lots of colors. Speaking of Ava she is developing a very spunky personality. She is letting us know more and more want she does and does not approve of. Some of these things include.
-The wind, she finds it to be very offensive
-She doesn't like to be put down. She likes to be held. We do hold her a lot, but not all the time. You can't spoil an infant by holding them to much. ( no matter what other people say, I refuse to believe it). If you put her down and she wants to be held, she'll fuss for a minute or two and then she'll IGNORE you when you try to talk to her. (She forgives easily though).
Her little protesting noises are so cute. My favorite protest is when she is eating and we have to burp her. She make the most incredible cutest whining noise I have ever heard.
She is growing so much. When she was born she was in the 5th percentile, she is now somewhere between the 50-75 percentile. She has caught up to all the other babies that were born around the same time as her. She has her four month check up on the 16th. We will find out if she needs to wear a helmet or not. because of her flat spot we will be meeting with a specialist a pediatric neurosurgeon on August 25th to make sure her skull is fusing together properly. The doctor doesn't think we have anything to worry about. She does have a spot of her head that is more pronounced then normal on her top left. Ava's flat spot and the little pronounced spot are both looking much better. We are still covering our bases just to be safe. She is very smart and is right where she should be on overcoming the milestones.
Love the pictures, Jam! Let me know if you ever come to visit Logan. I'd love to see your cute baby!
